Scottish Water are currently carried out works to install a new screened CSO along with a new outfall, headwall and MCC kiosk.
The majority of the work are being carried out in the old Brooker car park next to Sainsburys on Inglis Green Road.
The may be some traffic disruption during construction.
Why we are doing this
This project is to improve the environment in the Water of Leith by preventing items wrongly flushed down the toilet from entering the watercourse.
