Essential repairs
Kilmory Gardens is closed at its junction with Carranbuie Road to allow this work to be carried out safely
Scottish Water is carrying out urgent work to repair a sewer on the carriageway near Carluke Primary School.
Due to the depth of the sewer and therefore the size of excavation required, we need to close Kilmory Gardens at its junction with Carranbuie Road.
A temporary Traffic Management Plan is in place to provide alternative access to Kilmory Gardens using the school car park.
These urgent works are required to excavate and repair the sewer which is currently spilling into a nearby watercourse. SEPA are being kept informed.
We expect the work to take approximately two weeks.
Clancy are carrying out this work on our behalf, and will do everything they can to minimise disruption.
