Sewer network upgrade

A £2.45million Scottish Water Horizons project to upgrade the waste water network in Dunbar is now complete.

This work is designed to support development and minimise sewer flooding in the town.

Almost 500 metres of pipework has been upgraded across four locations in Dunbar, and a new drainage pipe has been installed in the grounds of Dunbar Grammar School to divert excess storm water during heavy rain.

Additionally, pipework has been upsized along Pine Street.

We would like to thank residents and road users for their patience and understanding while we worked to deliver these upgrades safely.

The work was carried out by Scottish Water’s delivery partner George Leslie.
