Braehead Rising Sewer Main Repair

We are carrying out an emergency repair in an area of grassland adjacent to King’s Inch Drive in Braehead, Glasgow.

A burst on the rising sewer main has been causing localised flooding and needs urgent repair. We will be closing one lane of the carriageway to allow us to safely excavate down to the damaged section of pipe.

The burst is on a different section of rising main to the pipe that is currently being relined as part of our £11million investment project in nearby Renfrew.

We appreciate the latest repair work may cause some disruption but will do all that we can to complete it as quickly as safety will allow.
