King's Inch Road Rising Sewer Main Burst

Fully Mobilised

Materials and machinery have been assembled on site to carry out the repair

We are carrying out a repair on a burst on the rising sewer main between Renfrew and Shieldhall on King’s Inch Road.

Our teams were alerted to localised flooding outside one of the access pits currently being used to reline and upgrade the pipe. The burst is further downstream on the as-yet unlined section of sewer.

Unfortunately, we have had to close one lane of King’s Inch Road - from the roundabout at Laymoor Avenue to the traffic lights at Crofton Way – to be able to carry out the work safely.

Materials and machinery are now on site and we will carry out the repair as quickly and safely as possible.

We would like to thank all affected for their patience and understanding.
